Shadow Kingdoms
- SHADOW KINGDOMS - A computer painting based on a private commission that I did in 2002 titled, "The Hunters".
A modified version of this picture appears on the book dust jacket of, "Shadow Kingdoms" by Robert E. Howard, published by Wildside Press in 2004.
This illustration is about the end of the "hunt" to find a female. The search is over, the cavemen have found their prey. It's twilight time, the purple shades of night are falling, the hunters are heading home . . . to the safety and warmth of their cave . . . and to the taming.
